Clubs and Activities
Ellicott Elementary School offers a variety of afterschool clubs and activities. The majority of our enrichment programs are offered at minimal to no cost.
The After-School Band program is designed to start beginning instrumental students, who have an interest in learning an instrument, the given techniques and ability to play their instrument of choice. This program helps to develop a student as a well-rounded individual by teaching students the responsibility of owning and caring for an instrument, as well as the time and dedication it takes to practice and rehearse in order to become a better player.

“Diversity: the art of thinking independently together.” -Malcolm Forbes. The purpose of diversity club is to celebrate diversity and promote awareness of the different cultures that are a part of our Ellicott family. Students in Diversity Club will plan a Diversity Night at the school where different families from both foreign and domestic backgrounds bring artifacts from their specific family’s culture to display for the rest of the school. On a regular basis, students participate in virtual field trips and immersion projects which allow them to see cultures that they might not otherwise be knowledgeable about, as well.
