Federal Impact Aid
Intro. to Federal Impact Aid
Each year, the federal government allows schools to apply for additional funds that it lost in taxes for having tax exempt federal lands in its boundaries. Since Ellicott School District serves the families of many service men and women, we apply each year.
Forms will go home on Sept. 4th and are due back to schools by Sept 11th.
Each family in the district must annually complete a Federal Impact Aid Survey form that we use to apply for these federal funds. Since monies are disbursed by student, families must complete a form for each student in their household that attends Ellicott.

We cannot stress enough how crucial it is that these forms are completed and returned to schools. We have the potential to get hundreds of thousands of dollars from impact aid. We rely on these funds to provide a quality educational experience to our students. The survey also helps determine support from the Department of Defense for military families in our district.
Please take the time each year to complete this survey. If you have questions, please read the attached 'Frequently Asked Questions' or contact the district office at (719) 683-2700 x4.
Completed forms can also be emailed to info@esd22.org with the subject "Impact Aid".
