Stay informed of winter weather delays, closings, alternate routes, and more by following us on social media, checking with local news sources, and checking for calls, texts, and emails from the district all-call system. Several factors are considered when deciding to delay or close school, including but not limited to: snowfall amounts, temperatures, visibility, wind chill, mud, and building and bus safety. We do our best to make this call early but with the school district being just over 220 square miles, conditions vary widely and all must be taken into consideration when making this decision. These considerations impact the amount of time it takes to make these decisions which are based on the safety of our staff and students. Please remember that you as a parent always can make the final decision to keep your student home. We do ask that you notify the school of your students absence. In the event of a 2 hour delay or school being closed, there will be NO off campus transportation provided to our partnering programs.
